Children often talk a lot. They say things that make us go "aww", surprise us, get us thinking or make us laugh so hard we tear up. A lot of the times they tell us exactly what they think and sometimes they get words mixed up. My 4 year old is one of these children that speak exactly what's on his mind all the time. He has said some of the most funniest things and even things that really got me thinking. I always say "I'm going to write that one down!", but then forget. By the time I remember I was going to write what he said down I forget exactly what was said. I have remembered a few of the funny things he has said. Some of them you just had to be there to see his face as well.
While eating a steak I made he said "Mmmm, these mistakes are good! Mommy, I LOVE your mistakes!" I about died laughing!
While coloring with my son he said "Mommy, don't put the book upside down. Put it upside up!" He was so serious while saying this. I had to laugh!
We were at church and a lady and her 2 kids sat next to us. My son looked upset, he got up turned and looked at the lady and said " You can't sit there. Those seats are for Jesus!" I said "It's ok, He doesn't need to sit" My son then said "Yes, He does and He needs 3 chairs! Ohhhh noooo Jesus doesn't have anywhere to sit!" He was just so sad about this...I feel bad since I HAD to turn my head to laugh.
The other day he said "When baby sister grows up she can get me food and make me something to eat!" He thinks she is going to outgrow him. :)
Last night we were talking he asked "When you were little did I hold you?" It was too cute!
There are many many more things that he has said that were a lot more funnier, but like I said I never wrote those down. I will start though, so when my kids are older I can tell them some of the things they have said when they are telling me the things their kids say. What are some of the memorable things your kids have said?

I like the last one - I'm like you, I tend to forget so many of the funny things our son says. I've tweeted a bunch of them, but as I approach 4,000 tweets I don't think I will ever take the time to find them.
Loved the one esp. about the church. I'm too old to think about any of my son's childhood statements. Have a good day.
those are all adorable! So true, my kids say funny things, and I think I should write it down, and I don't and then I forget. Sad really. Good for you for taking a moment to write these down!
Oh these are just precious! tooo funny!
tooo bad you didn't have a video huh!
Hi, thanks for the follow on Knowlton Nest! My kid doesn't say anything funny yet, except Car all day!
That's so cute! I too forget so many adorable moments and tidbits. The other day, I took my kiddos shopping for some much needed shoes and socks. I decided to buy a swimsuit for my two-year-old little girl, since she outgrew last year's. When we got home, she was so excited to tell her daddy what she got! She jumped up and down and said, "Daddy, Daddy! I got a SPACE SUIT for when I go swimming!" Kinda hard to correct them when they're so darn cute! :) Have a great day!
