When I first saw this Spiral Spin Top toy I thought it would be a bit on the big side for my little girl. She is 3 months and the box says 6 months +. Boy, was I wrong! She was just so fascinated by the colors and the moving balls. Her first reaction to the toy was just to stare wide eyed at it, since she has never seen anything like it. The things we have right now for her are small rattles and soft books. About a few minutes later every time I pushed the bright orange top down and the colorful balls would spin, she started kicking and making noise. She loves it! Every time I sit with her now I say "push" and grab her hand while we push the orange top down. We do this all the time. If I don't have her hand and say "push" she gets excited while pushing her hand down! I thought this would be too old for her, but it's not. This is helping her learn cause and effect! There are many learning toys for all sorts of ages at ebeanstalk.com even for my 4 year old! I can't wait till she gets older that way I can get some of the toddler toys they have as well!!!
