This time we are going to be ready for this baby. With our son we were anything but ready. He came so soon at 29 weeks. We didn't have a single thing for him. My mother had bought him 2 nightgowns and one of them he came home in. We were in the hospital for awhile and could have gotten ready to bring him home but we had gotten our first place while we were there and were flat broke. I didn't even get a baby shower with him.
On 12/29 I had my first baby shower ever! Outfits, socks, blankets, picture frame, bathtub, wipes, bathing items, etc. We have a crib that my aunt is letting us use that we will keep in the family which I'm so excited about. We have the bedding also that was given to us. A changing table from a friend and a theme. It is pink and green with butterflies. Today Shelby went out and got a car seat and stroller travel system pink and green! I also started trying to get ready for her when I found out I was pregnant. I will be breastfeeding with her and my cousin blessed me with an Udder cover which is great also a sling! I went on Holloman Yard Sales and found an excellent breast pump! Also I was blessed with everything I needed to start cloth diapering from the Dirty Diaper Laundry with the Fluffy Christmas that Kim had. When Teresa comes we are going to be ready for her for sure!
